Terms of Service — Leda Learn

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Leda Learn, you agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Bez Leda Studios (obrt), owned by Steven Jagurić, Croatia (“we”, “us”, “our”).

2. Description of the Service

Leda Learn is an online study platform that allows users to:

  • Create study sets
  • Import study material
  • Review cards using spaced repetition
  • Track learning progress

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or permanent data retention.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old, or have parental consent, to create an account.

By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the service complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

4. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
  • All activity occurring under your account
  • Providing accurate and current account information

You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the study content you create and upload.

By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • You have the legal right to upload or create the content
  • The content does not infringe intellectual property rights
  • The content is not illegal, abusive, or harmful

We do not claim ownership of your study materials.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Attempt to disrupt, damage, or compromise platform security
  • Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Abuse system resources or engage in automated scraping

We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these rules.

7. Data and Backups

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important study material.

While we implement reasonable technical safeguards, we do not guarantee protection against accidental loss, corruption, or deletion of data.

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

Upon deletion:

  • Active account data will be removed from the live system
  • Data may remain temporarily in encrypted backups until automatic rotation

We may suspend or terminate accounts that:

  • Violate these Terms
  • Engage in abuse or malicious behavior
  • Attempt to compromise platform security

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for service interruptions
  • We are not liable for data loss
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia and applicable European Union law.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Croatia, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection law.

Subscription Policy

Leda Learn offers two plans: Free and Pro. The Pro plan is available for €8 per month or €88 per year.

Subscriptions are billed automatically at the start of each billing period. Your subscription will renew unless you cancel before the next billing date.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation will stop all future billing. Your access to Pro features will continue until the end of your current billing period.

Leda Learn does not offer free trials or partial refunds. Payments are non-refundable, including for unused time in a billing period.
